Mindfulness tip of the week: Silence

Over stimuli is a common thing in todays hectic society.

We are constantly required to be available – especially through our smartphones.

Whether it is for social interaction or work, our minds can become used to being constantly stimulated and filled at all times.

Even when we are relaxing at home wee are stimulated constantly though TV, music, and games etc.

Try putting all things aside and simply be present in silence for 10 minutes.

How do you feel?

At first you might feel uncomfortable, but such silence is actually necessary for our brains to recharge and also affects creativity.
