Mindfulness tip of the week: Positive affirmations

Positive affirmations can bring a sense of joy, self-care, and warmth to even the coldest times. Daily positive affirmations remind ourselves that we are amazing, healthy, beautiful, happy – you name it.

By continuously telling ourselves positive things about ourselves we start believing them – and when we believe we act accordingly!

It doesn’t matter if you write your affirmations down, say them out loud, or even think them – as long as you repeat them every day.

Firstly, try to determine what affirmations are most important to you and decide on a few phrases in order not to be overwhelmed. When you have decided on the phrases, incorporate them into your daily routine by repeating them each morning when you wake up, and each evening before you go to sleep.

A gratitude journal is a great way to state your positive affirmations!

I say my affirmations our loud in the morning and write them in my journal the evening. I also have them written on my vision board, which is visible at my office at home.
