Mindfulness tip of the week: loose control

Many of us has a strong desire to be in control. We like to control our surroundings in order to feel like we can control our lives.
In this way control can create a sense of order and calm. However, it can also have the opposite effect of stress and overthinking – especially when things do not go as planned.

Think about how relaxing it would be to let go – loose control and simply accept that the world does not stop around us.

There are so many things that just happen around us. Consider your body: you heart pumps, and your breath works without you thinking about it.

The same goes for our jobs. The company does not stop because we take a day off – even though it might feel like it sometimes.

Try to let go for one day and see where it takes you!
