Mindfulness tip of the week: check in with yourself

We constantly make decisions. Some are small, like what we should have for dinner or which load of laundry we should do. Others are big, such as where we should buy a house, or whether we should quit our job and go into business for ourselves.

When it comes to making decisions many of us focus to much on our mind – the pros and cons list. We forget, at our body is also full of wisdom.

Next time you have to make a decision try to check in with your body. Take a few moments to sit quietly and check in with how your body feels. For instance your mind might be craving a big-bacon-burger with salty fries, but chances are your body is actually craving something completely different.

For big decisions you shouldn’t rely on either your mind or your body, but both.
