Mindfulness tip of the week: Body awareness

Our bodies can tell us a lot of information, if we take the time to listen to it! Our bodies are full of incredible wisdom! The body can reveal how we are doing, and feeling. It can even send us warning signals if we are pushing ourselves to or over our limits.

If we are feeling stressed we might have a raised heart beat, pulse and we might feel tension in our shoulders, and head. These are all signs from our body that we have to give ourselves a break and rest.

Try to feel your body from head to toe. How does your head feel? how about your tongue? How about your feet?

Developing a strong sense of body awareness can help you in many aspects in life!
